Data show that the government has banned on all roads in the lower Himalayas of Islamabad. From Commonwealth to Capital
CDA Chairman Nour-Ul-Amin Mengal said the government had decided to make one of the hotspots a no-smoking zone, announcing the ban.

Smoking on all hiking trails in Islamabad will be considered as a crime. All trails are declared smoke free zones here onwards.

Proposal Earlier this year, the CDA banned all recreational activities in Bukit He Margala, citing forest fires, garbage and air pollution.
In April, another district judge upheld the 144th Division in Margara Hills National Park, where a massive fire broke out.
Last August, the Ministry of Environment of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) announced a new route for pedestrians and hikers on Margara Hill.
