Based on market demand through the Training Needs Assessment (TNA) and keeping in mind new trends, PVTC has created 65 different careers to meet the growing needs of industry, agriculture, healthcare, and service industries. In addition to the usual vocational training and practical work. Life skills and social entrepreneurship courses are also required for every internship.
210 Vocational Training Institutes (VTI) Punjab Vocational Training(PVTS) established in empty/inactive government buildings across Punjab provides training for these jobs with an annual training capacity of 60,000 PVTC. Maintain a good gender balance with women at a 49:51 ratio and strive to keep improving. to date, Approximately 840,269 students have completed PVTS, of which approximately 82% are employed or self-employed.
