Police say the couple entered Pakistan through the Choliststan desert without proper documentation.

The two were identified as Prashant and Darilal from Madhya Pradesh and Hyderabad respectively. The police registered a case and started an investigation into Indian Spies.

One of the suspects is a software engineer. Authorities believe he was sent to attack terrorists. Authorities have not released further details.

In early September the Federal Bureau of Investigation arrested foreign-funded spy Omar Dawood when he entered Pakistan via Torham.

Omar, a Pashtun patriot, and founder of an armed force known as the Pashtun Liberation Army (PLA), was among those who disappeared and was arrested by the agency.

Dawood hails from the Karak district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and is involved in anti-national activities. He fled to India via Afghanistan in 2013 and came to India five times on an Afghan passport.

The International Border Management System (IBMS) placed him on an exit control list after security forces found him trying to cross the border at night and arrested him.
