CDA Launches New Hiking Route 7 in Islamabad

Capital Development Authority (CDA) Environment Department launched a new tourism (Hiking Route 7) and tourism trail in Margalla Hills, Islamabad earlier today.

Route 7, 5 kilometers long from C-12 to Kanthia Alexander Well, was opened by civil authorities at 6 p.m. Captain Usman CDA Chairman and DC Islamabad DC Irfan Nawaz Memon

The CDA reopened ‘Route 1‘ and ‘Route 2‘ on the route to visitors and tourists earlier this month after completing Hiking Route 7 necessary renovation works such as placing maps, waypoints, and benches along the route.

The Islamabad Wildlife Management Board established the Asian Leopard Sanctuary along Route 6 in the Margala Hills earlier this year to protect and conserve a large number of Asian leopards.

In March this year, Amir Ali Ahmed, Chairman of the Development Agency (CDA), launched a new park called Hill Park on Third Road, Sector G-10/4, Islamabad.
