Sports Clubs and Hiking Routes reopen in Islamabad

The Capital Development Agency (CDA) has announced plans to build a state-of-the-art sports club and Hiking Routes known as Sports Enclave in the beautiful Shah Allah Ditta area of Islamabad. This area offers a variety of sports activities such as volleyball, rock climbing, zip line and cricket.

The CDA president announced that the sports precinct would be developed into a multi-purpose stadium and provide world-class sports facilities to the residents of the capital city. The project will be built on 300 kanals of CDA land previously earmarked for environment and health protection.

To expedite the process, the CDA directed the relevant agencies to prepare the PC-I.The CDA president also decided to restore the ancient Alexander Road connecting Shah Allah Ditta in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with Islamabad border.

The CDA also decided to revitalize Route 8, a popular trail for nature lovers. and promotion of outdoor activities and tourism.Moreover, a new road will be constructed from the Buddha Cave to the stupa to enhance the beauty of the Shah Alladitta area.
